Only 30 hours to go for Sam Davies in the Vendée Globe

Roxy expected to cross the finish line in 3rd place between tomorrow night and Saturday morning

After 95 days at sea, leading British Vendée Globe skipper Sam Davies aboard Roxy is only 200 miles from the finish line in Les Sables d’Olonne, France. With light wind forecasted for the next few days as Sam approaches France, Roxy is expected to cross the finish line in the next 30 to 40 hours. After sailing an exceptional race, thousands of people will welcome Sam home as she completes her round the world voyage in 3rd place. Upon doing so, Sam will become only the second ever British female to complete the race, posting the second fastest time ever for a female Vendée Globe skipper.
